Delia Cristea

Partner, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Power Sustainable

Delia is one of the founding partners of Power Sustainable. She has worked closely with the leadership team in building the firm since its inception in 2019. She is also responsible for deepening the firm’s community impact and ecosystem building activities in the sustainable finance space. Prior to Power Sustainable, Delia worked as Assistant General Counsel for Power Corporation of Canada, as well as counsel for Power Energy Corporation, the renewable energy developer in the Power Corporation group. Prior to that, she was Associate at McCarthy Tétrault LLP in the Montreal and Toronto offices and served as in-house counsel with BCE Inc.

John Cook

VP, Co-Lead, Mackenzie Greenchip Team

John is a Portfolio Manager and Team Co-Lead with the Mackenzie Greenchip Team. His career in the investment industry began in 1991. He was President of Greenchip Financial Corp. from when it was founded in 2007 to when it became part of Mackenzie Investments in 2020. Prior to Greenchip, John led corporate development at one of Canada’s largest innovation hubs. He has also held a number of executive positions at Canadian mutual fund companies. 

Ralph Ibendahl

Managing Director, Global Head of Energy Transition, Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets

Ralph has been at RBC for 6 years and has 20 years of investment banking experience in the utilities, renewables and energy transition space. RBC’s Energy Transition group works with a range of clients including large corporate clients, financial sponsors and high growth companies looking for capital. The main focus of the team is M&A, Private Capital Raising and IPOs. Ralph has advised clients on transactions in renewable generation, the battery value chain, green hydrogen and biofuels.

Graham Takata

Director of Climate Change at BMO Global Asset Management

Graham leads climate action for BMO Global Asset Management’s Responsible Investment team, where he leverages his broad industry experience to help investors and investee companies better manage climate-related risks, capture emerging opportunities, and navigate a transitioning economy. Prior to BMO GAM, Graham led some of Canada’s first carbon-financed projects, Ontario’s commercial cap and trade programs, and decarbonization initiatives across multiple high-emitting sectors. Graham currently serves on Climate Engagement Canada’s Steering Committee and leads BMO GAM’s sector-based climate engagement campaigns.
