Resilience in Action: Unlocking the power of nature-related disclosures to future-proof your organization
Nature-related reporting holds the key to meeting global biodiversity targets, improving understanding of our economy’s reliance on nature, and aligning markets with nature-positive outcomes.
At this invitation-only roundtable, members of the Canadian consultation group for the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), along with others committed to advancing nature finance, gathered to discuss how Canada can increase adoption of nature-related disclosures through bolstering awareness and building capacity. It was a unique opportunity to connect with peers to share challenges and successes, engage with global experts, and explore the latest capacity building resources from the TNFD.
The session was attended by Canadian leaders in business, finance, government and environmental groups. It included those who are well along their nature positive journeys, and those just beginning. Together, participants worked through data challenges, the importance of integrating climate and nature, and building the business case for assessing and reporting on nature-related risks and opportunities.
The round table took place at GLOBExCHANGE 2025 in Toronto, in collaboration with the Institute for Sustainable Finance and CPA Canada.
