What’s next in sustainable finance

Understanding sustainable finance and how it will impact the world of business

The world’s economies are moving toward a low-carbon future—and the financial sector is playing an important role in this shift. Sustainable finance is integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria into business investment decisions.

What actions around sustainable finance are taking place in Canada and around the world? What are the impacts? What do businesses need to know that will affect them? And what’s next as sustainable finance becomes even more important to investors, firms and governments in the fight against climate change?
