About the program
An organization’s competitive strategy is interdependent with those of its rivals. This program will provide practical tools for deciphering the strategies of rivals, communicating the organization's strategy, analyzing relative strategic positioning, developing distinct strategic positions, and protecting them through network effects. Additionally, the program will introduce participants to AI tools for dynamic strategy analysis.
This program will provide managers with advanced skills and AI tools to address questions such as: How do my rivals compete? What are their priorities? How do they affect my organization’s competitive positioning? How can I uniquely position my organization relative to rivals? How can I protect my firm’s strategic position?

SmithToronto
SmithToronto is located on the 30th floor, 200 Front Street West in the heart of Canada's financial centre and is easily accessible by GO, subway and the PATH system.
Smith School of Business delivers many programs and classes at SmithToronto and it is home to the Master of Finance, Master of Management Analytics, and Master of Management in Artificial Intelligence programs. The site includes classrooms, meeting rooms, staff offices, special events spaces, and a variety of multi-media presentation systems.
As well, it includes three Boardroom Learning Centres with fully interactive videoconference capabilities. These rooms are used to deliver classes for Smith’s Executive and Accelerated MBA programs.

Session leaders include senior professors from Smith School of Business and knowledgeable experts from industry. These outstanding teachers are constantly in touch with today's business world through real-world business experience, Board memberships and their own consulting practices.
Goce Andrevski is an associate professor in Strategy and Organization. He received his PhD from the University of Kentucky. He also holds an MBA from Grand Valley State University and a BBA from the University of Sts. Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, R. Macedonia.
Goce Andrevski’s research explores how firms can systematically outperform rivals in dynamic competitive environments. His research interests include competitive dynamics, alliance networks, and strategic entrepreneurship. Goce is a member of the editorial board for Journal of Management and his research has been published in journals such as Strategic Organization, Information Systems Research and Journal of Management. His research has received 2011 Dorothy Harlow Best Paper Award (Academy of Management), 2010 Best Published Paper Award (Information Systems Research) and 2009 Best Doctoral Student Paper Award (Academy of Management).
