The Corporate Innovation Internship is an opportunity for your organization to access some of Canada’s newest and most innovative talent. Students will develop a customized solution to a business challenge using design thinking, opportunity scanning, venture development, strategic planning, and innovation management techniques.
Process & Timeline
Dec - JanComplete a project proposal
- Interested organizations are asked to submit an online project proposal.
- Projects will be reviewed and approved by the Faculty Director.
Match with a team & agree to a project plan
- Project proposals will be shared with students, who will connect with partner organizations.
- Students and partner organizations will agree to terms on a project plan.
Project execution
- Student teams will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan, communicating with the partner organization as needed.

Partner Requirements
- The organization must have a well-defined, managerial business problem or challenge.
- The organization must assign a dedicated person to liaise with the student.

- Building, testing and iterating prototypes
- Digital marketing strategies
- Developing product development protocols
- Producing commercialization strategies
