Call for Project Partners

The Global Business Project is an opportunity for organizations to receive comprehensive analysis to help solve a global business issue or challenge. Students will work in cross-cultural and geographically dispersed teams to conduct research and deliver a consulting report that help solve a business challenge.

Process & Timeline

Sep - Oct

Complete a project proposal

  • Interested organizations are asked to submit an online project proposal.
  • Projects will be reviewed and approved by the Assistant Director, Project Courses.
October

Match with a team & agree to a project plan

  • Project proposals will be shared with student teams, who will connect with partner organizations and select a project that aligns with their interests.
  • Student teams and partner organizations will agree to terms on a project plan.
Nov - Jun

Project execution

  • Student teams will work on deliverables outlined in the project plan, communicating with the partner organization as needed.
  • Student teams will produce a 10+ page consulting report at the conclusion of the project detailing their research, analyses, and recommendations.

Partner Requirements

  • The organization must have a well-defined, managerial problem or challenge.
  • Deliverables must be achieved within a 7-month timeframe.
  • The project scope must amount to roughly 500 hours of consulting work.
  • The organization must assign a dedicated person to liaise with the student.

  • Developing an international growth strategy
  • Completing a comprehensive market analysis
  • Supply chain optimization
  • Developing a turnaround strategy
  • Creating a marketing strategy & brand redesign
