In my capacity as Director of Marketing and Communications within the Student Executive Council (SEC), I am responsible for promoting the brand value of the SEC and the MBA class. This ethos is strengthened by the confluence of both individual and Smith attributes. I am also accountable for ensuring seamless communication across the cohort regarding all Smith MBA events.
As the chief coordinator for external content, I review and / or establish processes to ensure content published on SEC/student run websites, social media platforms, and publications, including associated photography, complies with the Smith MBA requirements and regulations. I serve as the direct point of contact for the Smith School of Business Marketing Department and the student-led Marketing Club (among others) and liaise with them as needed.
This position not only allows me to build closer relationships with the faculty, SEC, and cohort but also offers me the opportunity to gain insight into the value of marketing and communication and leverage its ability to drive success.
