I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

Coming from my humble beginnings in Africa, deciding to move thousands of miles away from home was not an easy feat. I had the opportunity to pursue my education in other renowned schools, but Smith was my favourite.

From the preliminary stages of my application, I received much personalized support. I was certainly influenced by Smith's reputation and the recommendation of my direct hierarchy, but the key determinant was the support I received during the application process. I still remember a series of interviews that had to be rescheduled due to my business trips. As a candidate, I already knew the human warmth that would accompany me throughout the training. In addition, the award of a scholarship also expedited my choice.

It is also important to highlight the team-based learning approach, which makes the program more dynamic thanks to our interaction with people from diverse backgrounds, but also from different fields of activity. A piece of advice during the application process: let your talent, your professional experience, and your interpersonal skills speak for themselves. I know this MBA will allow me to position myself as a potential candidate for more important roles in businesses, especially in the sectors of activity that I am passionate about.
