I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

it had everything I was looking for in an MBA program: team-based learning, a welcoming and knowledgeable faculty, a guiding Application Advisor during the application and admissions process and a smaller student cohort size. Not to mention the 12-month program was very appealing as well.

If I could go back one year ago as I decided where to start my MBA journey, one advice I would give to myself is to not hesitate to reach out to Smith. The many recognitions that the program has been awarded made starting the process rather daunting for me, but knowing what I know now and having met the wonderful faculty that was waiting for us, I would just say go for it!

This is where the amazing Application Advisors come in. They guide you through every step of the way, answer whatever questions you may have, offer you insight, and root for you to the process’s completion. My recommendation would be to reach out to them with your questions and let them guide you through the process because they will never lead you astray.

As a Smith MBA student, I’m hoping to capitalize on the many networking opportunities available to us and build meaningful connections that will help me advance and pivot my career from a technical to a more creative industry. I’m counting on the large variety of classes and coaching available to us to guide my decisions on the specific path I would like to follow and I am sure that with the help of the staff, faculty and my MBA classmates I will soon be on track to achieve my career goals.
