I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

of its reputation, international exchange opportunities, and team-based learning, as it presented me with the opportunity to collaborate in cross-disciplinary teams, and understand diverse ideas to solve issues. However, what really sold it was the ease of the application process, with my Application Advisor supporting me every step of the way. To me, this reflected how the staff would support me once I was in the program.

If I could go back and give myself advice one year ago, I would say not to stress about the little things and to embrace the uncertainty. I know it’s a very cliché thing to say, but at the end of the day, not everything goes to plan, and you have to be able to adapt. Be curious about the challenges life throws at you.

A tip I would recommend is to fully utilize the Application Advisor to the best of your ability. They truly are in your corner to support you and do not have any bias regarding the outcome of your application.

Beyond the MBA, I would like to combine my healthcare background with consulting, providing patient-centered care through value-based approaches, as well as ensuring that organizations have operational efficiency, financial and strategic management, and the technology and policies needed to effectively support the healthcare system. From an entrepreneurial perspective, the MBA would provide me with the necessary business acumen to confidently develop my own practice as an occupational therapist.
