I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

Smith is one of the top business schools in the country and #1 for career services. The coaching services, combined with a valuable alumni network will provide ongoing support as I navigate my career transition. The team-based learning model is also extremely valuable for developing collaboration and leadership skills in real-world scenarios.

If I could go back and give myself advice one year ago, I would say: trust the process and be curious. Shifting gears and going back to school can feel daunting, but every challenge is a chance to grow and learn more about yourself. One month into the program, I have already gained confidence in navigating complex business concepts, developed a better understanding of the job market trends, and begun building a strong network of alumni eager to help launch my career.

For prospective applicants, my tip would be to truly reflect on your unique story and how it shapes your aspirations. The Smith MBA values authenticity, so let your passion and purpose come through in your application. Connect with alumni or current students to get a real sense of the experience, and don’t hesitate to ask questions about how the program can support your goals.

Through my MBA experience, I aim to build the skills and network necessary to make a meaningful impact in the management and operations industry. My long-term career goal is to leverage my background in professional sport to drive sustainable growth within an organization.
