I chose the Smith MBA because of its focus on team-based and experiential learning. Every opportunity offered by the school, whether it be an event, a club, or access to multiple coaches, supports the idea of providing students with a chance to grow and discover how to be better leaders, team members, and individuals. The school’s emphasis on maintaining a balanced lifestyle, for example through programs like Fit to Lead™ also really stood out to me. In addition, the welcoming environment created by all of the Smith staff and alumni I talked to during my application process reinforced my belief that this program was the right fit for me.

Don’t stress so much. The Smith community is just as welcoming and kind as you thought it would be. Also, don’t be afraid to try new things; you can learn so much about yourself by embracing new experiences.
