I came to the Full-time MBA at Smith School of Business because ...

I want to comprehensively understand the global business landscape, leadership, and strategy. I found very few MBA programs across the globe that offered courses and resources that would equip me with the necessary skills and foundation in all the functional areas of venture capital. Still, with Smith's customizable MBA program, I can take courses like Financing New Ventures and Global Strategy and receive first-hand experience in the Canadian Venture Capital ecosystem with the Tri-colour Venture Fund. The cherry on top for me is Smith's coaching vertical and corporate network, which makes it the ideal destination for job search challenges.

A year ago, I would have told myself, "You are not alone; you will have a team of program administration staff, classmates, and professors rooting for you to succeed." I advise all applicants to have "a clear purpose" for pursuing an MBA.
