Peng-Sang Cau, BCom, co-founder, president and CEO of Transformix Engineering, was named one of CASCON x Evoke Canada’s Tech Titans for 2019. The list represents a group of Canadian technology leaders who have instigated positive change or made an impact on the growth of their company.

Peng-Sang Cau, BCom, was named Woman Exporter of the Year for 2018 by the Organization of Women in International Trade. Peng is president and CEO of Transformix Engineering in Kingston. The company works in the advanced manufacturing sector and is the inventor of CNCAssembly. In her acceptance speech at the award gala in Toronto, Peng urged other women to “be fearless. Do not allow artificial barriers to stop you from achieving your dreams.”

Max Chee (BCom) has been promoted to partner with Millennium Technology Value Partners, a global leader in institutional quality liquidity programs. Max, who is based in New York, joined the firm in 2005 from Mellon Ventures.

Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of boutique firms in the real estate and private equity industries in a career that has spanned more than 18 years in accounting, tax and corporate finance.

Andreas Hesse, BCom, MIR’97, is Director of Operations at Clear HR Consulting. The Vancouver-based company was recently named External HR Consultancy of the Year at the 2017 Canadian HR Awards, and received a 2017 Readers' Choice Award for HR Management Consultants from Canadian HR Reporter.

Wendy Hurlburt, MBA, was recently appointed president and CEO of LifeSciences BC. Wendy has more than 20 years of global finance, operations and compliance experience in the health-care and technology sectors. She previously held global leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, the Heart & Stroke Foundation and Lexmark International. Vancouver-based LifeSciences BC is a not-for-profit industry association for sectors such as biotech, medical devices and medtech, pharmaceuticals and digital health.

Matt Hutcheon (BCom)
Matt Hutcheon (BCom) is the new CEO of the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce, charged with implementing a strategic plan for aggressive growth and increased visibility. The target is to increase the current membership of 860 local businesses employing roughly 20,000 people to a total of 1,500 members by 2016. Previously, he operated Vista Enterprises, a small consulting and tax business he launched the day he graduated from Queen’s.

Steve Lawrence (MBA) continues to live in Kingston, ON, and is currently a computer artist who has created many “infinitely large mathematical universes” within which he has found the most amazing fractals. From what Steve thinks are the best of the computer files, he produces incredibly detailed and colourful holographic prints and offers them for sale in various sizes. His largest gallery show to date was very well received last year at the Proof Studio Gallery in the Distillery District in Toronto.
