Smith-WU Vienna Double Degree
Students in Smith Commerce and in the Bachelor of Business at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) will have the opportunity to take part in this new learning experience that will see them split their studies between Smith’s campus in Kingston, Canada, and WU Vienna University of Economics and Business campus in Vienna, Austria.
About WU Vienna Double Degree
Each year, a select group of students from each school will complete the first two years of their four-year undergraduate degree at their home school, followed by their final two years of study at the affiliate school.
WU, one of Europe’s largest, most modern universities of business and economics, will allow students to enhance their international business career. This unique opportunity will also provide students with the chance to gain functional specialization and a broad global management perspective. Students will be participating in international peer teams and work with international faculty advisors. Students will also have the opportunity to develop their research skills by completing a thesis supervised by a WU faculty member. This would represent a unique opportunity for Smith students to experience truly cross-cultural learning, both at the peer and faculty level.
All classes will be taught in English.
