Over the last 24 years, Chris has focused on the strategic leadership of disruptive, high growth and tech-enabled businesses. As an executive, advisor or investor, Chris has worked with some of the world’s leading (VC, PE, Institutional and Fortune 50) companies in the real estate, consumer goods, fashion, sports, art and luxury good sectors.

Immo Capital: At IMMO Capital (London, UK), as Chief Growth Officer, Chris is responsible for investment, ESG and growth strategies of Europe’s first technology-led residential real estate investment platform. Through its innovative approach to unlocking granular assets for institutional investors and ‘green’ retrofitting, Immo Capital was awarded “Tech Pioneer” by the World Economic Forum and recently secured the largest ever Series B fundraising for a prop-tech business in Europe.

Round Hill Capital: Prior to IMMO capital, Chris was Chief Strategy Officer at Round Hill Capital (London, UK) where he helped build the business from a start-up into one of the leading pan-European vertically integrated residential investor/operators with over 300 employees and $9B in AUM. During this time, Chris led the creation of the first premium student accommodation platform in Europe and multi-award-winning brand and tech- enabled operator - delivering record prices for asset sales including the largest real estate transaction in Europe post GFC.

DVF: At Diane von Furstenberg (New York, USA), as Chief Omni-Channel Officer, Chris worked closely with the global fashion icon and philanthropist (Forbes & Time Magazine 100 most influential people), to relaunch the eponymous brand and restructure the organisation, while leading the global direct to consumer business (own stores, ecommerce, digital marketing, buying, merchandising, customer service, architecture and technology) and development of the omni-channel strategy with tech partner Salesforce (Demandware).

Made.com: Prior to DVF, Chris was Chief Marketing Officer at Made.com (London, UK), the leading pan- European home furnishings platform and one of the first pure-play e-retailers in the sector. Chris built the start- up team to over 100 staff leading commercial strategy, operations, business development, brand and performance marketing, PR, in-house creative teams and international expansion. Following this rapid growth, Made.com was selected for British government's Future Fifty programme for high-growth technology companies to help IPO - which happened in 2021 with revenues over £200 million.

Procter & Gamble: During his 12-year tenure at global consumer giant Procter & Gamble, Chris played pivotal roles in leading early company-wide digital transformation (Toronto, Canada) for all P&G brands and marketing at the corporate level (including negotiation between the world’s largest advertiser and emerging media player Google). Following that he managed and integrated dozens of fashion licences (including D&G, Gucci, Hugo Boss, etc) as the leader of the $140 million UK Prestige Products group (London, UK). In his last role as Global Leader for Market Strategies (Geneva, Switzerland), he was responsible for the commercial plans for 40% of what had become the world’s largest luxury beauty business – growing from $500M to over $5B in annual sales in less than 10 years.

Tate Art Galleries: Previously Chris served as a Trustee for the Tate Art Galleries, the leading art institution based in the UK, that is responsible for the Turner Prize, building the world’s largest paid museum membership program and the Tate Modern which is the one of the top 10 most visited museums in the world.

Queen’s University: Chris currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, home to Canada's prestigious undergraduate business program and highly acclaimed MBA and executive education programs.

Chris was born in Toronto, and after retiring from professional mountain biking he attended Queen’s University in Canada, where he received his Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the Smith School of Business. He holds Canadian, British and Australia citizenship and is based in London, U.K., where he lives with his wife and son. When he is not in the office you will likely find him building a house, playing tennis or climbing a mountain on a bike or split-snowboard.
